Frequently Asked Questions

What are your working hours?
I work a variable set of hours depended upon my client’s needs, some of my clients work full time so are only available in the evenings. Some client’s are available during the day and receive treatments then.
Give me a ring or send me an email and I’m sure we can sort something out.

Can I have a massage if I have a medical condition?
There some medical conditions that massage therapy would recommend, and others that massage would not. The safest thing to do if you’re unsure is ask your GP first.
If you’re unsure about anything, give me a call about a possible massage treatment.

What happens at the first appointment?
At the start of the first appointment there will be an initial consultation. It’s at this point that we cover all medical issues and needs relevant to the treatment, plus any questions you have for me.

We will discuss exactly what you want from me, our massage goals, and how we will proceed with the massage therapy.
It’s important to remember that holistic massage is a fifty/fifty experience. Not me telling you what to do and you doing it. But you provide a willing self, and me providing the massage skill. Working together to achieve our agreed massage goals.
All information shared is totally confidential and private.

What happens if I cannot make an appointment?
Life is of course unpredictable, and there are going to be unfortunate situations when you have to cancel an appointment.
If this happens then I would ask that you let me know as soon as possible, thanks.
